The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed life for nearly everyone across the globe including many members of the Babson community. Babson established the Emergency Fund to help students in need as campus life came to an abrupt stop in March 2020.
As you can recall, Babson admits a diverse set of students from across the world, and each is impacted in their own way. Over the year, many students needed financial assistance for a variety of reasons and were able to get the financial support through the Emergency Fund.
We all learned about the "Helping Hand" when we chose to join Theta Chi and continue to live by our creed in our daily lives. Last year we were able to contribute generously to this fund and we hope to do it again this year.
As part of this initiative, President Spinelli has given us a challenge — if Babson Theta Chi alumni bring 33 new donors for this fiscal year, he will personally donate $3300 to the Babson Theta Chi Organization for future student use. This is a good sign of the support we have for Theta Chi's return to campus. We want to show a similar level of enthusiasm by exceeding the target but we need your help to do this.
In the spirit of our Fraternity's maxim - "Alma Mater First; Theta Chi for Alma Mater" - we ask that you join us in contributing to Babson's Emergency Fund and by doing so we help the future of Theta Chi at Babson.
