Last year, after seeing the effects of the global pandemic on our students, a group of Babson faculty and staff ran a socially distanced 10 miles on Graduation Day to raise money for the Student Emergency Fund. This year, the growing group is back at it again with the same goal: raise money to support Babson students facing unexpected expenses. The Student Emergency Fund assists students impacted by the COVID-19 health crisis with current needs during the upcoming academic year.
This year, the run will take place on May 16, 2021, the day after Babson’s Virtual Commencement ceremony. Participants include Lauren Beitelspacher, Dave Blodgett, Rick Cleary, Erin Freda, Kristen Getchell, Ben Luippold, Rob Major, Eric Palson, Amir Reza and Raquel Robertson.
Our goal is $2500. Last year, we crushed our goal, and we hope to do the same again this year! Please donate to the 2nd Annual #10forBabson fundraiser to support our students!
