We lost a living legend a few weeks ago. Marcos Flegmann ’12 was a humble giant with an absolute love for life. He had the most contagious personality and passion for his friends and family’s well-being. Many of us would not be who we are now without him in our lives.
We want to honor and celebrate the incredible life Marcos lived. We are in talks with Babson and major donors to establish a fund in memory of Marcos. Designations is yet to be established and will be determined by the funds raised.
If this angel shined any light into your life, please consider donating accordingly. This was a special, special person who deserves a monument to his incredible influence on all of us. If you have any questions or concerns reach out to me or Brew.
I will personally be making a good donation and we have additional donors who have committed to working in parallel with us. I hope you will join us!
Don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly or a member of the Babson Advancement Staff to learn more about making a multi-year commitment to support this fund.
Marcos Flegmann, 2012, passed on December 21, 2020. Marcos was inducted into BURC’s Hall of Fame at our 40th Anniversary Celebration last year, on October 12, 2019. He was both VP and Captain for the club and a leader on and off the field. Marcos will be remembered for his imposing presence and dominant play including representation at the International level, but also for the gracious and gentlemanly friend to those around him.
