Center for Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership

Center for Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership

The Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL) is one of the most visible and important ways we support women entrepreneurial leaders and impact the larger Babson ecosystem. The College was the first business school to establish a center focused on women entrepreneurial leaders and in 2018 received the All-Inclusive Awards by Color Magazine for its Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab venture accelerator.

CWEL has six programs that impact a diverse set of stakeholders including: undergraduate and graduate students, high school students, Babson alumnae, women entrepreneurs, and executive women from around the world. Today, CWEL manages the largest undergraduate scholarship program on campus and has launched three successful venture accelerator programs, including the Black Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (BWEL) program, the C200 CHAMPION program, and the Women Innovating Now (WIN) Growth Lab, which have impacted over 300 female founders looking to scale their businesses.

A gift to CWEL gives Babson women the opportunity to achieve their full leadership potential by supporting our award-winning programs and ultimately empowering women looking to create social and economic impact for themselves and their communities.
